OxBlue's new AI equipment tracking makes controlling costs that much easier
The market leader in construction cameras, OxBlue, releases artificial intelligence equipment tracking functionality as a new standard feature to help customers increase oversight and control expenses. Clients can now create custom alerts when machinery arrives on site to easily monitor utilization.
“For so many of our customers, cranes sitting unused means thousands of dollars lost. Equipment tracking and notifications helps cut back on those surprise costs, but also helps clients ensure resources are showing up as scheduled.” said Director of Product, Rob Hall.
OxBlue’s AI-enabled cameras make it easy to create custom notifications for 11 different types of equipment. If a crane is left unattended for hours, or if a concrete truck shows up in cold weather, clients can use OxBlue to ensure resources are used appropriately. The alerts give clients the increased accountability, knowing that if something happens, they’ll be notified.
“Asset tracking and management is already widely used in the industry but it often involves installing software or specialized GPS systems to monitor what’s happening,” said Chief Operating Officer, Richard George, “OxBlue helps ease that pain by using our smart camera systems to identify movement on site. The camera helps do the work of tracking for you.”
Equipment tracking is one of the many AI features that OxBlue uses to ensure teams can act on important information, fast. Clients can define their own parameters for when and how they'd like to be notified for a variety of key jobsite changes. Weather, safety, activity and equipment notifications can all be used to remotely monitor the jobsite.
Artificial intelligence features work best on close-range cameras 8 MP or higher. See how OxBlue can improve your jobsite today.
